Hugh Harris: Spatial Design BA(Hons) graduate

Hugh Harris After graduation, Hugh became a member of the Marketing/Student Recruitment team at University College Falmouth.

Although he was enrolled on the BA(Hons) Spatial Design course he was exposed to many other areas and disciplines within Art, Design & Media. As a result, his work became more varied and multi-disciplinary. For example, he made research films for projects and he learned how to use a wide variety of different technology and machinery. Hugh and a fellow Spatial Design student even had their own Radio Show ‘Teqnikal Difficulty’!

Hugh was also a Student Ambassador during his last two years as a student. When sp[eaking about that experience, he said: "It helped me tremendously in gaining vital skills; from simply talking to a variety of people to event organising."

Hugh feels that "It’s so important to be great at a load of different things rather than being fantastic at just one. University College Falmouth taught me how to be great."
