Fees for part-time students 2012/13
Tuition fees are payable in October and January in equal instalments, although alternative instalment arrangements may be available.
Please note that the tuition fees are payable for each year of study and are subject to inflation linked increases.
Postgraduate courses
MA Education £1,288 annual fee
MA Art & Environment £2,641 annual fee
MA Illustration: Authorial Practice £2,774 annual fee
MA Professional Writing: Distance Leaning £2,275 annual fee
Research
MPhil/PhD £2,551 annual fee

Two-year Foundation Diploma in Art & Design
Foundation Diploma in Art & Design £1,004 annual fee
Part time Foundation - fees remission
Part time Foundation students in the following groups may be eligible for fees remission:
- Those under 19 years of age on 31 August in the academic year that they first enrolled
- Those aged between 19 - 25 years who do not hold a level 3 qualification
- Those in receipt of Income Support or Job Seeker’s Allowance or Housing/Council Tax Benefit
- Those in receipt of Working Tax Credit with a household income of less than £15,276
- Those in receipt of Pension Credits (Guarantee type)
- Those who are offenders who are serving their sentence in the community
- An unwaged dependant of a person in receipt of one of the above benefits in receipt of one of the above benefits
To qualify for the remission, you will be required to complete an application form at enrolment and produce current evidence of your benefit or qualifications.
