Rail (train) connections

Via London Paddington Station

When you get to London Paddington Station, check the main train information board for details of your train (for direct lines to Truro, the final destination will be Penzance), then – if you have not already bought a through ticket to Falmouth – go to the Ticket Office to purchase a single (one way) ticket to Falmouth Town (The Dell). Please make sure that you explain at the Ticket Office which train you intend to catch, as this may affect the price of the ticket.

You are advised to catch Intercity trains that offer a “through” journey to Truro, as having to break your journey (at Exeter or Plymouth) to change trains can be unhelpful. The journey to Truro can take as little as 4 ¼ hours. You should get off the train at Truro, then change to Platform 1 and catch the local train to Falmouth Town (The Dell).

Via Reading Station
