Air connections: London Heathrow Airport

If you arriving at London Heathrow Airport, we recommend that you take the Heathrow Express train to London Paddington Station. This is the easiest option if you have a lot of luggage. You could get a taxi from Heathrow to Paddington Station, but we recommend that you do not do this as it will be very expensive and could take a lot longer than the Heathrow Express. If you do intend to catch a taxi, we recommend using a pre-hired car or a London (black) cab. You may find that in the arrivals hall you are approached by people offering to take you into London. These people are not licensed and are breaking the law; there have been cases when the agreed price has been increased on arrival in London. Do not use these taxis under any circumstances.

It is also possible to use the London Underground Piccadilly line service from Heathrow (dark blue line on Underground maps). This can be convenient if you are not in a rush. We recommend that you do not use the Underground if you have a large amount of luggage.

Alternatively, you may wish to take the Rail Air Link (a direct bus link) to Reading Train Station and then follow the instructions outlined under Rail Connections.

You could also transfer to London Gatwick Airport by bus (National Express service), and fly from Gatwick to Newquay Airport (see London Gatwick Airport).
