Quality and status

In March 2004, University College Falmouth was awarded Taught Degree Awarding Powers (TDAP). This provided the University College with the highest level of external verification and confirmed its status, maturity, and ability to maintain the academic standards of its awards.

The TDAP process showed the effective governance, management, and financial control arrangements of UCF. It also highlighted the strengths of the University College in managing existing operations and responding to development and change. For the first time in its history, Cornwall has an independent HE institution with the power to award degrees in its own name.
