jamie_boyd_postcard.jpgSunbeam Hall is probably the last studies of boats at Sunbeam Hall boathouse on Falmouth Wharves on the banks of the Fal Estuary - the last remaining deep water working wharves left in Falmouth outside the docks, which are scheduled for demolition and housing development.

Today the site supports an abundance of local industries including Scallop works, divers and salvage, boat builders, metal and wood works, furniture makers, instrument makers, a music studio and artists studios.

Jamie's work offers an 'out of season' glimpse of the 24-hour working Wharves and the unique and vibrant community that it homes, which may soon disappear, along with the artist's studio.

Some of the original paintings from the show can also be viewed at Open Space Gallery in Penryn during October.
