Welcome to the Learning and Teaching section of University College Falmouth’s website.
These pages are designed to reflect the three strands of the College’s Learning and Teaching Strategy (2006).
Learning and Teaching at Falmouth
Learning and Teaching is regarded as the College’s core activity. We sponsor a range of activities to support the professional development of all colleagues teaching or supporting student learning.
These include:
- Regular Learning, Teaching and Access Days combining external speakers and internal dissemination of best practice through workshops
- Internal teaching fellowships (funded to support the evaluation of teaching innovation)
- Peer Observation
- Introduction to teaching sessions for new part-time staff
- Initiatives to engage teaching staff
in generic issues such as diversity,
assessment or flexible learning.
