  • Almost as soon as I graduated I was selected for '4 New Sensations' organised by the Saatchi Gallery and Channel 4. I gained lots of exposure and had to make decisions about my work in a commercial world. I took strength from all I learnt at Falmouth. It gave me a unique perspective and I'm proud to say I didn't study at a generic London art school. Media release: Students return from global adventures to exhibit artwork

Falmouth gave me the opportunity and funding to conduct research abroad. My tutor helped me with my application and the Ferdynand Zweig scholarship allowed me to visit and document a collection of futurist buildings in Italy. This research created the foundation for work that is still ongoing. Louise Thomas, BA(Hons) Fine Art
