Careers advice

Whatever stage you are at in your studies, the Careers Advisory Service offers services to help you with your future plans.

Careers service

The Careers Advisory Service helps you work out what you really want to do. We offer advice on further study, placements and internship opportunities, gap year options and finding a job that's right for you

The Careers Centre has stacks of information about different careers, employers and graduate job vacancies, as well as providing advice on how to write your CV and present yourself at an interview.

You can visit us at any time - in fact the earlier the better. We give lectures and one-to-one sessions throughout the year. You can also get advice for three years after you graduate.

Visit the Careers Advisory website to see what's on offer and get online information. You can also book an interview with one of our Careers Advisors on 01326 253735, e-mail: careers@falmouth.ac.uk or drop into the Careers Library at Tremough Campus.

Careers library

The Careers Library can be found in Academic Services, Daphne Du Maurier Building at Tremough Campus (opposite reception) and can be used for reference use on weekdays between 9am and 5pm. You can get information on a range of occupations, employment, self-employment and postgraduate opportunities.

Resources in the Careers Library include software packages for career planning, books, and video resources.
