Regular winners and finalists in prestigious competitions like the D&AD Awards, RSA Design Directions Awards, FutureTalent Awards, Chelsea Flower Show, Hand and Lock International Couture Embroidery Competition; and exhibiting at events like the Milan Furniture Fair and D&AD New Blood, our Design courses have carved out a national and international reputation.
Our award-winning Design Centre, with its open-plan studios that encourage interdisciplinary collaboration, is also home to design research and exciting new business start-ups. At our first Open Design event in February, Heads of Department and Pathway Leaders from Foundation level courses around the UK spent the day with design staff and students at University College Falmouth, learning more about our facilities and courses.
