Feature film Weekend Retreat shortlisted for the LoCo Discovery Award

(0)BA(Hons) Film students who had work placements working on a two week shoot of the feature film Weekend Retreat are delighted with the news that is has been shortlisted for the LoCo Discovery award.
The Film course committed to a student work placement scheme, where students attended the whole two week shoot, shadowing roles in the camera, editing, sound, art and production departments.
Film at Falmouth's connection with Weekend Retreat extends further with it having been part financed by University College Falmouth and with Simon Harvey, an Associate Lecturer for BA(Hons) Film both producing and starring in the film.
The winner of the award will be announced later this week and will receive a screening at BFI Southbank on Saturday 28 January as part of LoCo's London Comedy Film Festival, in partnership with the BFI.
