Etnies Skulls Tee Designed by Rebecca Tayor Rebecca Taylor, now in her final year, has been selected as one of four winners of the Etnies Europe ‘Design The Next Etnies Tee' Facebook competition. Her design, entitled ‘Skulls', is now available to buy on line throughout Europe as part of the Etnies Spring 2012 collection.

Etnies explained the rationale behind the competition: "Being able to directly interact with our fans and let them direct and be part of the Etnies brand is a large focus for our future development. Etnies has decided not to wait for it to happen through the natural expansion of social media, but instead take the first steps and develop an interactive Facebook application for the launch of this ‘design a Tee contest'.

This season's challenge for its Facebook fans was to create new designs based around the Etnies logo. The 10 designs receiving the most votes on the Facebook application were judged by the team of Etnies designers who then selected the best four as winners to become part of the Etnies Spring 2012 line.

The Dutch-based company was established in 1986 as the first skateboarder-owned and operated global action sports footwear and apparel brand. Etnies not only pushed the boundaries by creating the first pro-model skate shoe, but it pioneered technological advances and changed the face of skateboard footwear forever.

As well as her design adorning an Etnies tee-shirt, Rebecca received a large package of Etnies gear as a prize.
