University College Falmouth Summer Festival, sponsored by the Leadbitter Group, proudly presents this year's crop of talented graduating students from five leading disciplines across our two schools of Art & Design and Media & Performance.
Final year students unveil the results of three years of dedication to conceptual and progressive thinking as they showcase their work across the two campuses of Woodlane and Tremough. This spectacular culmination of exhibitions and shows opens to the public from 17 - 24 June 2011.
Professor Anne Carlisle says, "The Festival's exhibitions, screenings, performances, and talks give friends, family and the whole community the opportunity to celebrate the pioneering work of our graduates as they launch into the creative industries." She adds, "Our doors are open and we welcome you to join us in celebrating our final year students."
The Departments of Art & Design will present exhibitions all around the Woodlane Campus and in the Design Centre on the Tremough Campus. The Department of Performance invites everyone to experience contemporary performances and contexture work from graduating Art, Choreography, Theatre, Music, and Writing students. This vibrant celebration marks the end of the first year of Performance at the new Performance Centre. The Departments of Media & Writing will present exhibitions and screenings in the Media and Photography Centres on the Tremough Campus as well as screenings and the Pixel8 film festival at The Poly in Falmouth.
