Rebecca Rasmussen Fingerpuppet: 'Michael'
Artist and BA(Hons) Contemporary Crafts graduate, Rebecca Rasmussen, has been exhibiting in According to McGee's  show ‘New Visuality', in York.   The show seeks to present the elite, top 21 of the most collectable young artists in the UK, chosen from major UK exhibitions and graduate shows.

‘New Visuality' gives emerging artists an opportunity to showcase their work to potential buyers and collectors and as part of this group exhibition, Rebecca's work will also be viewed by an international market when it is taken to China later this year.

Commenting on her designs, gallery owner Greg McGee said, "Rebecca's finger puppets are about as enchanting as anything we've stocked. Our current pieces are built on a thimble and manipulated with rings worn on two fingers. This is timeless stuff, and has a growing amount of fans in Asia."

Rebecca is not the first graduate from UCF to be selected by According to McGee: alumni Angie Thirkell, Gin Durham, John Hopper and Maria Puga were also selected for this exhibition.  Maria Rogers, Gallery Manager explained, "New Visuality is an on-going exhibition project we would like to offer every year to UK graduates and universities - we have a commitment to showcasing the best of UK contemporary art."

The artists' work can be viewed and purchased through New Visuality's online gallery at http://accordingtomcgee.com/
