22-27 April 2009: That's Design! Milan

University College Falmouth is a regular exhibitor at the prestigious Milan Design Week and this year the event will showcase the work of our Design MA students. The students of five MA courses have been working together on an interdisciplinary show.

Four of the courses are well established at Falmouth - 3D Design, Contemporary Crafts, Interior and Landscape Design, and Textile Design . These are joined by Falmouth's new Graphic Design MA.

"The Design MA experience at Falmouth is about finding new approaches to design problems. We put a lot of emphasis on providing an open and interdisciplinary environment, and on high quality technical facilities. Our new MA Graphic Design, calls upon high profile provocateurs from parallel and associated disciplines to challenge and provoke thinking. We aim to create the space and conditions for new perspectives on design, and the Milan show will be an expression of this." John Miller, UCF Director of Design.

The work of University College Falmouth students and graduates can be viewed at Stand 3, That's Design!, Industria, Via Forcella / Via Bugatti, Zona Tortona, Milan.
