2011 sees the fourth annual DESIGNED. IN CORNWALL exhibition at University College Falmouth. This three day event showcases the outstanding design and technology work produced by students at schools and Higher Education colleges across Cornwall and is the only large-scale exhibition of its kind in the country.

Wednesday 29 June - Saturday 2 July 2011
Design Centre, University College Falmouth

DESIGNED. IN CORNWALL originated through a partnership between Richard Scott, Design & Technology Team Leader/AST at Richard Lander School, and John Miller, UCF's former Director of Design, who worked closely with Richard to turn his idea into a reality. In 2010 the exhibition presented work by more than 360 GCSE, Post 16 and undergraduate students from 21 schools and colleges. Last year's show was extended to include contemporary crafts, and saw impressive ceramics work from numerous schools.

A panel discussion was introduced on the schools day, featuring young professional designers who had a relationship with Cornwall. Feedback was so positive we are hoping to include a similar event this year.
