Peter Collinson's 1969 film ‘The Italian Job' includes a car chase around Turin in Italy. The three Minis (red, white and blue) race up the sail-like roof of the Palavela, around the rooftop test track of the famous Fiat Lingotto factory building and into the Turin exhibition hall (although this last scene was cut from the final edit). The unique portrayal of these buildings presents them in a way that one could never experience.

Re-presenting elements from each of the Italian concrete structures, printed with puff binder onto English wool (a reference to the ‘Britishness' of the film), creates a similarly removed experience of these buildings, celebrating their forms.
