We warmly invite you to join us at the Dartington Campus Festival. This extraordinary event marks the transition of the College from the Dartington estate to its new home in Falmouth. Because this is our last festival at this historic site, this year's programme is packed full of spectacular arts and entertainment to celebrate the creative achievements won here.

Work by graduating students will be showcased alongside work from Dartington alumni, covering Art (installation, performance, media/digital/film, fine art), Writing (page based, performed, installation), Theatre (studio based, site based, installation, film), Choreography (studio based, site based, installation, film) and Music (performances).

A one-off symposium, entitled 'Extended Play' Dartington College of Arts 1961-2010 will consist of five distinctive round table events taking place across the festival, to discuss the Dartington legacy.

In addition, a 3-day site-specific piece, 'Shaking Hands with Ghosts' is being curated by the artist and lecturer Melanie Thompson. Works by established alumni artists will take place across the Dartington estate throughout the festival, culminating in a special event on Sunday to say goodbye to the estate where the College has been based for 48 years.

The Lower Close Marquee and Rat & Emu will host a rich entertainment programme packed full of great music and cabaret style performances. Plus there will be workshops, talks and lots of fantastic music to get up and dance to!

We are hosting a networking event for attending professionals. More information will be released shortly.

Other events taking place throughout the festival include Room at the Roundhouse, which will be running a series of extra special gatherings! And for those of you who would like to reconnect we will be hosting a series of mini reunions for students from each decade since the College first opened in 1961. More information will be released shortly.

If you're coming from afar, or just want to enjoy the fantastic surrounds of this idyllic location, we are offering camping on the estate for a flat fee of £10 for the event (with washroom facilities). For those of you who will be staying locally we will be running a free, fun, Rickshaw taxi service from Totnes to the festival.

All in all, Dartington Campus Festival 2010 will be a very vibrant and celebratory five day arts fest and a unique celebration of Dartington.

Come and join us as we make our mark on history!
