Woodlane Campus
Less than half a mile from the original Falmouth School of Art (which now houses MA Fine Art: Contemporary Practice), and close to the Foundation studios, the Woodlane Campus forms the bustling hub of student life in Falmouth. Home to BA(Hons) Drawing, Fine Art, Graphic Design, Illustration, Fashion Design and Performance Sportswear Design, and MA Creative Advertising, Curatorial Practice and Illustration: Authorial Practice, the creative buzz about the place is hard to ignore.
Woodlane has dedicated studio spaces for each course, IT suites equipped with industry-standard software, a state-of-the-art Fashion Studio and an outdoor sculpture canopy. Its on-site bar, refectory and art shop, subtropical gardens and relaxed, friendly atmosphere means that students tend to spend more than just the average 9-5 here.
The Learning Resource Centre at Woodlane offers a specialist art, fashion and graphic design library with 70,000 books, e-resources and journals. Tremough houses our specialist design, media and performance collections alongside a wide-ranging general collection to meet all students' needs. Together, this comprises over 200,000 books, journals, DVDs, online and electronic resources, with a service allowing items to be transferred between sites, as well as an option to order specialist books from the British Library.
