Graduate internships

"We are very pleased to be able to help graduates get their foot into the work-place door at this difficult time for the UK economy. We hope a good proportion of the internships will turn into full time jobs for those concerned". Adrian Bossey, Director of Enterprise

What is University College Falmouth's Graduate Internship scheme?

University College Falmouth is launching the Graduate Internship scheme following a successful bid to the Higher Education Funding Council for England to generate local jobs for graduates.

The scheme creates short-term, paid internships for graduates of any UK university or further education college, who graduated during 2008 or 2009. By working closely with employers, it gives graduates the opportunity to experience the excellent graduate-level positions on offer throughout Cornwall.

Graduates are given the opportunity to apply a range of skills, assume real responsibilities, make an impact and advance quickly into successful professionals.

Businesses and organisations get short term help from a talented graduate to focus on a particular project or to take on specific responsibilities. This is also an ideal opportunity to try out a graduate for any longer term career opportunities.
